Seniors, students and persons with disabilities get a fare discount on many TAP agencies with a Reduced Fare TAP card. You don't need a TAP account to apply, but if you have an account, please sign in before you apply.
The minimum age to qualify for a Senior fare varies with among LA County transit agencies. Before you apply for a Reduced Fare TAP card, check the rules for your local agency to confirm that you will receive a reduced fare.

Persons with disabilities may apply online for a Reduced Fare TAP card. However, if you have a qualifying medical disability under Social Security Disability, it must be classified and certified by a medical professional, and the documentation must accompany your application. Therefore you must download and submit the print version of the Reduced Fare TAP card application.

Student must attend a school located in LA County
Student must be enrolled a minimum of 12 units or 12 hours per week for 3 consecutive months.
Student must be enrolled a minimum of 8 units or 8 hours per week for 3 consecutive months.
