Student Discount

All qualified students receive a fare discount. Students who attend schools that participate in Metro’s GoPass or U-Pass program enjoy unlimited free rides throughout the year.

Qualifications

All Students

Student must attend a school located in Los Angeles County.

Undergraduate College Students

Student must be enrolled a minimum of 12 units or 12 hours per week for 3 consecutive months.

Graduate College Students

Student must be enrolled in a minimum of 8 units or 8 hours per week for 3 consecutive months.

Required Documents

• Photo ID (College/Vocational students only; view a list of accepted documents)
• Proof of enrollment* (view a list of accepted documents for K-12 or College/Vocational students)
• Eligibility Code from your school administrator (GoPass and U-Pass schools only)

* You may apply without proof if you certify that proof will be provided upon request.
